Tunnel, the Apparition will be a little instable?

Not unstable, just not as good in rough water as the Genesis.

Hello again guys. I dont know if I made the right choice, but I ended up buying an Apparition II. The positive comments about it led me to do this choice, besides a friend who eventually ordered for a same boat, to play with me.

Thank you for your attention, I hope soon I can be contributing as well.

        Cya friends,

        Adriano

Finaly I got my Apparition . I changed my order to an Apparition with single motor. I runned it with 4s and a Turnigy 42x29x15. In the day when I run, the wind speed still high and the water a bit rough. It's hoping a lot, i'll try to tunning it better . I'm planing now to get an Octura, X442 or X640 . I'm waiting too an new motor, a 36-74 2800kv.

There's above a short video of the 1st run . Thanks all that help me to come to here

Are you running the tacon 4074 2150kv? I am looking to get tat motor down he road for my apparitian. If so how are your temps on motor/esc/batts? And im curious to how you like the performance speed wise, im guessing the 4074 makes the rig get up good.

yep, temps seem fine, i only run on 4s so the speed is not blistering but still fun, playing with different props right now.

Good to hear. So did you have to mod anything to make the motor fit? And I'm guessing its faster than the stock motor? Let me know what you find out prop wise.

my boat came with the tacon in it, looks like the stock mounting hardware, i plan on rearranging some things later and do some paint. i have a new prop on it, just haven't had a chance to run it yet.

Yup that's the big taco as I call it! Looks good in there, and I see there is a cooling sleeve to fit it. In the pictures the motor mount is not hooked up to the water cooling, did you hook it back up?

I did some calculations and the stock motor on 6s will do roughly 36000 rpm, and 24000 on 4s. The 2150kv tacon will do around 31000 rpm on 4s. That's right between the stock motor on 4 and 6s, basically like running 5s.

Id say with the stock prop and the big taco 40mph sounds about right. If temps are good that motor can probably handle a bigger prop to get some more speed out of it.

Looks good, I can't wait to get mine on the water, even though it will ne stock.

Mine´s hoping a lot. I need put the lipo pack on the 1 or 2 way on the picture above?

And about the shaft? I think that´s with much positive angle, i´m right?

What prop are you using on your apparition? I dont know if I use a x442 or a x640. Motor will be a 3674 2800kv (with 14.8v) and a 120A Marine Esc.

                              Thanks friends.

Mine doesn't hop much but I eyeballed the strut. My prop looks to be straigt with the hull bottom. Yours looks to be pitched up in the back a little.
