Show Me Your Soldering Equipment and Soldering Iron

I am looking at the whole connection aspect of our connectors. Part of that is the best method of soldering and the equipment for that . I have a soldering station, ie, gun with a cord and a variable temp knob on it. However would like to know what you more experienced guys are using. Pics of your equipment would be great.

flux for cleaning, 60/40 rosin core solder. 100/140 watt soldering gun. Helping hands, wire strippers, shrink tube. Just make sure to pre tin all of your wires and get the joint nice and hot so the solder flows, should be smooth and shinny when you are done. Oh and the most important part, a respirator, even if you get lead free solder i wouldn't suggest breathing those fumes.

I use a cheapo 140 watt gun and helping hands. Plumbers acid flux and 60/40 solder. 8mm shrink for 5.5's and a heat gun. All from harbor freight and I use coupons for the best price.

Propane torch from Home Depot for soldering bullets and a $10 Hobbico soldering iron for tinning wires. Sorry, no pics.

I use an old piece of scotch brite once the gun is warmed up.

Edit: I also use a pair of hemostats to hold the wire while soldering.

I use a lead glass soldering iron, from the local hobby lobby, best joints I have ever got on large connectors. It eats thru tips though but at 17 bucks its a steal, and It's close to 8 years old.
