    Eagle tree setup help

Does anyone have a good link to info on how to setup my eagletree??

i have the 150amp version and i cant seam to figure out how to get the bar graph to read my amps. I ran it today and logged a few minutes and when i downloaded the info its not showing me much other than volts.

if anyone can help me by telling me what settings i need to use or whtnot i would greatly appreciate it, not trying to complicate things i strictly just want to measure AMPS. Thanks

Ok so i figured out how to read by the graph, but is there anyway to set my values higher? or does it just make the highest point whatever your max amps reading was??

What i mean is on this recording my max amps were 189.69, is there a way that on the left hand side where it shows the numbers to set that highest value to say 320? or is it always just going to be whatever yoru highest reading was??

It will adjust to the highest reading. This is what I was trying to tell you when initially talking about the 150. Is this from the 1717??? It's possible you were pulling more than the 189 amp value, it's just that elogger will only read so far above it's rated value.

You can also zoom in on an area by clicking and dragging a box around the area. Say click top left around the time of 220 highest amp reading and drag it to say the 260 sec time lowest amp reading and it will enlarge the first run. Then to move back to full graph click somewhere on top left and drag it off the screen on the left.

I'm actually typing a PM for ya as well but it was just about what was said above! Yeah, I would imagine your amp reading is clipped and you may be pulling more than the 189. The graph I posted was with a usb recorder with the 300 amp expander so the graph auto adjusted to the value you see. I'll check when I get home to see if there's any way to change it.

There should be a help button on the graph page somewhere according the the manual.

              Graphing/Spreadsheet Compatibility
The eLogger software has extensive graphing capability built in. Just click “Data, 2D Chart” in the software to graph loaded data.
Note that individual sessions of the file can be graphed separately, or side by side, by clicking one or more sessions to graph in the
“Sessions” menu. Side by side graphing lets you compare performance across different laps, or with different log files if the
“Combine Recorder Files” option is used as described above. Click on the HELP button on the graphing page for more information
              on graphing.

                    The manual is here http://www.eagletreesystems.com/Supp...powerpanel.pdf

I used the "Show Max when current draw is zero, and switch to Live when current draw is greater than one amp" value but I found it didn't always display the max that shows in the graph. Because of this I normally didn't use it... I just received the elogger v4 but haven't soldered connectors on it yet.

I don't see a way to change the max shown value.

yeah i couldn't either, oh well what i'm going to do is try couple different props up and down that way if i go down i know the amps "should" too and if they dont that would be a good indicator to me that its not capable of logging the higher amps. However i think with my setup the 189 amps seams about right, actually darn close to what i estimated it would be.
