according to my watt meter i was only pulling out roughly 2000 mah after 2 full min of running with an m445. 2p wouldn't be necessary for p spec hydro oval racing IMO. However, i just like running 2p.

Dana, this boat needs trimming, substantial FG or CF reinforcing, hull joining and cowl trimming. Like I said : "not for the timid" BUT a great looking boat which'll rock on spec power once done. Will work the price a tad if you're interested.

Then again, If you do find a Titan 29 and rig it with the UL-1 motor, [ EDIT : looks like you found one, nice !] , later on you can pop in a 2200KV motor like a Neu 1515 1Y and go a little nuts :

Another thing the T29 has going for it is it makes a really nice rough-water "moto-cross" boat. With spec power & 33+% cg she just charges over the liquid whoop-dee-doos Some of the best times I've had with that setup is when things really get blown out

Of course, not every run ends perfectly , but the hull is solid as a rock

I'm lookin' favorably at the new Keda's that Steven just stocked for an intermediate step-up from spec to just slightly less than crazy power. Check 'em out ; specifically the 4D & 2Y. At $69.95 they could be the perfect fun/performance motor :
