    Amp question

Just wondering if anyone can tell me how many amps I will be pulling so I know what 4S lipo to get? 33" mono hull, Neu 1515 1Y motor, Hydra 240 ESC, X642 prop. I just want to get the right pack and charger. Any help would be great. Also balancer. Thanks

Will, I have a 33" DF ; same motor & SC. Been running modded X445 & M447; temps so reasonable I'll try a M545 this weekend. No amp draw data [eagle tree on the fritz]; using 4S 30/60 C Neu 4100's in parallel ; plenty of runtime & batt temps never exceed 120 deg. I've been using Hyperion 1210i & 2 LBA 10's but when charging 2 packs in series have [as well as SoCal Bill] been experiencing some charger glitching. My take is to go to 2 4S packs in the 4000 or 5000 capacity in parallel ; also take a look at the new Cellpro 10S charger [ coming mid-Jan.].

Anyone have any idea what the cost will be?? I've seen everything from $125 to $200. Considering that they have a built in balancer, this is a good deal.

10S pack can be charged at up to 8 amps (300 watts!!). Looks good to me.
