    Genesis cat, calmer water faster?

I know my deep eve likes a chop. Do cat hulls like calmer water for better top speeds?

For sure the Cats need smooth water to run there best, but some people might tell you and it may be true that a slight ripple not chop can be beneficial to topspeed, just because of the simple fact that a slight ripple will actually allow the boat to go faster since theres less resistance by having less of the hull in contact with the water, basically pure glass water can sometimes slow you down slightly since the surface of contact is so good it can create a slight suction so to speak, i'm sure you get what i'm trying to say.........
