    Winter Project Second Try

Just tested a Leopard 4074 @1050kv,Seaking 180,and X438 prop. Boat is 28" and 6 lbs. The original water pickup was on the bottom of the strut and not very big. Had to run pretty fast to get flow. I made one by slotting 1/4 brass tube to straddle the rudder (see pics) At walking speed, it pumps water about 2" above the deck. Have cooling for ESC and motor. I ran it for 20 minutes at walking speed on 2S. The ESC and motor were ice cold. Next test was on 3S at full speed for most of 10 minutes. ESC and motor still cold. I have a question; if I use two 2S1P 5000mah 30C batteries in series for a test to get more speed for just running around, is it safe for the Lipos? Planning short tests for cooling. Don't need to fry any more hardware. Any advice is appreciated.
