    DF26 Build

Okay so it is summer project time! I'm planning a DF26 build and looking for any advice people can offer, ex. setups they use, good motors, hardware, etc. Here's my planned setup:
    -DF26 hull
    -Feigao 6xl or 8L
-SV27 R strut (not looking to spend a whole lot)
-Graupner 38-42 mm carbon two blade prop
    -(2) 2s lipos (5000 mah range)
-Not sure on ESC, something around 130 amp
    -.130 flex cable

This is my first build in a while so if you have any advice I would like to hear it. Thanks!

        I ran a 8l on single 3s 30c 5000mah pack and a x637. It was fast and easy with a single pack!

I ran mine with Proboat (Black Jack/Miss Geico) 1500 kv motor set up, 4-6S 442 prop and on 6S she was 50mph plus missile that was actually pretty stable (needs weight for that speed).

Are you running in series with your batteries? If you are, your motor choices are dubious at best.

good eye Douggie, yeah those are 3S max set ups, w2S2P would be pretty good starting place.

I'm running a 2200kv suppo 3126 outrunner in mine with a scorpion commander 120A esc and prather s215 prop on 4s/5000mah. Runtimes are nothing to write home about but its a fun, fast boat and stays nice and cool.

Alot of the posted setups will work well, just throwing mine out there

I would be running the batteries in series. And also @brushlessracev thanks for the offer but at this point I'm just looking for advice. I'm planning on doing this build over the summer with money from a summer job, but keep me posted.
