    4s3p??????

This is just a thought, has anyone tried 4s3p in a titan 29. I got the lipo's yesterday and was playing around with battery placement and I found a good cog with two batteries along side the motor and one in front. Two in front 4sp2 seem like they'll be fine but around 32-34%, where as with the three it'd be around 31-33%. Would I be waisting my time and connectors setting up 4s3p or is it worth a shot??

I think you are wasting your time...could it even be done confuses me...I do not think so. 4s4p would be easier, but heavier. What is the kv rating of your motor? IMO 4s2p makes way more sense if the kv of your motor is around 1800-2200.

That would be a lot of weight and the benifit would be minimal.

that just makes for more runtime, but can your set up handle the xtra 2-3 minutes of time without over heating

Can it be done, yes. If your using the Castle 1515 1y than you have plenty of motor for that hull. The extra weight might help keep the Titan on the water.

On the other hand it's probably not the most practical set up and charging three packs is a PITA as well as an unnecessary expense. IMO your best solution would be to move your controller in front of your motor so you can slide the two packs farther back. Similar to how I mounted the T180 in my sport hydro.

          BTW- Nice paint and decals!!!

I'm planning on 9s3p in my 50" Hydro................the big amp sucker only gives me 4 minutes on 9s2p..................yours should work fine on 3p if your setup is sound..........not overpropped etc............looks like you have enough caps to keep them cool.
NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...est!&highlight=

Thanks for the feedback, it was just a thought, I figured it may help keep the nose down a bit. I suppose I'll just finish the build with 4sp2 and have the option down the track. Have to run it and see how it handles.

you could do it. What connectors are you using? Not sure 5.5 would be big enough to make the connector work or if they would handle the amperage. Just a matter of making the connector. You will need 4 males and 4 females if im thinking this correctly.
