Connectors?

I have all traxxas conectors but just bought a genesis with a seaking 180 and leopard 1500KV. I am guessing that everyone will tell me that the traxxas connectors cant handle the amps and to change them out. Right? Bummer, EC5's ok?

I use to run trx connectors.

The traxxas plugs will work up to 5s no problem, bump it to 6s and pull more than 130 amps and have run times longer than 3 mins and you'll more than likely desolder a connector. Forget about the ec5's, run bullets, that way if you want to run series theres less connections as you wont need to build a series harness they can just loop as its 1 connection per wire, rather than having 2 connectors in 1 plug. I would just go straight to 8mm bullets, easy to solder, easy to connect/disconnect, you'll never have an issue. 5.5mm would be fine for your setup too.

buy these and be done with it forever you wont regret it, i changed all my rc's over to them.

I run 8mm bullets on the battery side and 5.5mm bullets for the motor. Never a problem.
