Which esc? Size is important for some conditions Seriously,.......there are also considerations like do you want cheap or polyolefin? What you think you need Vs whats available can be very polarized. More info please!

Your LHS should have some clear that is used for making battery packs but it is somewhat thin. I got my 2' dia. stuff from a hotrod store that they use for battery connections, large wires I assume.

You mean like for the Suppo or the HiModel 200? Heck,.....thats easy. 2.5" wide polyolefin with the stock caps. If you added caps or modified the wiring that might effect the size choice.

The black stuff is what I used for the same ESC and I think it was pricey, like 15 bucks for 6 feet. PM me you address and I will cut you a four inch piece and get it in the mail tomorrow for free.

Let me understand your setup. You took off the stock air cooled heat sink and put on a after market water cooled heat sink? Does it exceed the stock finned dimensions? The 2.5" polyolefin heat shrink barely fits over the stock setup. So if the water cooled heat sink is bigger the size might need to be bumped up to 3". Thats not a problem, just need to understand what dimensions you have.

Got your PM. Mine was tight to get the shrink on but I added tubing to the sides also. Don't forget Artic silver and definately more caps as m4a says, they are a must for these ESC's. I have some clear also that I will check the size, if it is bigger, I'll send it as well.

Yep, Arctic Silver is what you said but what do you mean by the fets are buried? It sounds like someone already tried their hand at waterproofing it but if so, you need to file or sand them down as flat as possible. 3m DP270 potting compound is good stuff if you are going to add more. I found some clear heat shrink that is larger than the thick black stuff so I'm sending them both. Good luck.
