turn fin placement on deep vee

Sorry for all the noob questions, I'm building two arowana 22.5" mono vee boats and I'm wondering if I should add a turn fin or two.

The problem is I'm not sure where to put it/them as it has a flood chamber.

I was thinking one fin between the prop shaft and flood chamber but Im new at building as I have only had RTR boats so far.

    Pics below.

    Thanks

If you do not ask you will not learn. Boats like this really only turn to the right well, so we normally only put fins on the right side. You will want to mount the fin as far to the right as possible, at an angle perpendicular to the bottom of the boat. This will maximize its ability to turn right. If you really need sharp left turns, then a smaller fin at the extreme left of the transom will work. But the boat will never turn as well to the left as to the right.

Ok great, Ill give that a go. Thanks for the info. Would you recommend a straight or curved fin? I should be able to work out the size by making it the same proportions as my SV27r.
