Miss Geico: 8 or 10 with 5.5 bullits

Hey guys, I could use some help. I'm new at FE I just got Miss Geico and 2 turnigy 2s1p 4000mAh 40c batteries. The batteries have 8awg wire and the boat has 14awg. After I get used to it I'd like to try and make it fly, T180 esc, 2x3s etc. Just like alot of the other guys are doing. Should I just change all the wires to 8awg with 5.5 bullits or is 10 or 12 wire enough.

Just use the wires that come on the T 180. They come with 10awg on them. You will have no issues with the wires.

Thanks, I wasn't quite sure what to do. For now I'll put 5.5 bullets on the 14awg that come on the stock set up (remove the Deans) . The batteries I got have 5.5 bullets.
Thanks again, post when I get her in for a maiden run. I'll be happy to start with 35mph.

Thanks, wasn't really sure what to do. I'll put 5.5's on the esc to replace the deans. I did get an x642 to start with, Be nice to get 38 to 42, maybe wishfull thinking. Just leave everything stock for now until I cook something.

Thanks agian. I'll let you know how I make out on the maiden run.................

Do offset next if you have nothing to do over the weekend...

I have the kintec v2 offset but haven't put it on yet. I've been reading pros and cons. Thought I'd run it stock first and then install the offset.

5.5 bullets on every connection and a kintec offset rudder and a X642, once you get comfortable with running that set up try a M445 prop!
