First welcome to OSE and a solid build you have there. Yeah, it should be pretty fast, just make sure to sharpen and balance those X450/3's

That is one smokin build. It has to be insane fast. This can't be your 1st build, with workmanship like that. I would like to see some of your other boats.

            Good luck,

            Killer V

Thanks, i have done som test runs, i am going to install a GPS to mesure top speed. So far motors, ESC is cold. I am also going to do more test runs with different props.. Any prop suggestions?

I have som cosmetic issues i will resolve, when it is done i will post new pictures..

It is my 2th build, my first was a 32" cat with neu 1527 1d.

your boat must be very very fast at these rpm with these props.

I wouldn't go any bigger on props, there are some options to try

                    octuras 447
                    propshop 4518/3 or 4518/4
                    HOPF 445/3 or 448

Yes i would like to go down on prop size, to see if i can get more RPM out of these motors.

It seems that most twin cats use 3 bade props. Cats with single motor use 2 blade props, do you know why?

Not really, but I think it all depends on the boat setup and water conditions.

Personally, when I setup a boat I test 4-5 propellers to see which gives

                        better overall handling-stability
                        better speed
                        low amps

In most of my boats, (twin 135, DF35" & mean machine) the 3 blade props gave me the best results. It's all about testing. The Octuras need some work on them and then can increase rpm, such as
make the "angle" tongue to a nice round shape
remove some material from the trail edge-backcut
                        Twin Cat 135, Sprintcat40 (single-twin), DF 35", Maritimo, Mean Machine, SV 27
