That link just leads to a forum index, not sure what we should be looking at here.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

looks like a himodel or something. have you tried just plugging it in and hitting the throttle?

That is NOT an appropriate motor for 6S. It will burn up any ESC. It is hot for 4S, if you insist on using it of 6S you will be sorry.

If you post a link to a photo or tell us what the boat is we can be more helpful. I do not have the time to go through another forum post-by-post to find yours. You can post pics here. If you want help, help us.

Lets start by the link provided in this thread doesnt take the folks here to where you provide any details. I had to go to your thread under the AquaCraft UL1 topic to see any details. Next,...... it sounds like your trying to run a 6S speed controller at 6S. Aint going to work. I have owned lots of the Himodel GX-200, Suppo copies and 6S is just not right. Next,......... what radio are you using? I have never been able to any of my GX-200 speedos to operate unless I used a PisTix adapter. Thats been my experience. Lastly, using my math on a 7XL motor and 6S produces 52k rpm. You will blow it up. Maybe not on the bench but if it does arm,...........and you get on the water,...........and you have not over propped the hull,................the inside of your hull will fill with the magic smoke from what ever cooks off first. Might be the speedo,.......might be the motor. But your going to blow something up.

So before we go any further could you please provide some more information please? I'm not being sarcastic, I'm not trying to sound of critisim. But I do think you might want to reconsider what you are doing. Just my 2 cents and not worth too much more.

Got some good stuff there! Any chance you could go down to 5S? I know it might not be in your inventory but even using a smaller 38mm prop its still on the edge. Most of us tend to go with 4S and a 40mm or so prop. I'm running a 42mm in my UL1. Since you got good stuff I'm guessing your savy. Lets get down to brass tacks. Do you know why the speedo is not arming? End points wide open, following instructions, getting the right tones?

Can you post pic of the ESC..............tha ESC was the main concern right..............????

As stated, 6s is not appropriate at all................4s is tops you want to run.

Yes, the OP is running 30C cells at 4000 mAh, so anything over 120 amps will stress the cells. And he WILL run over 120 amps with that motor on 6S. He can safely run 3S - if the ESC will arm - but then his speed will be about the same as stock. Best to either go 4S or get a motor with a much lower Kv - 1500 would be much more reasonable for 6S.

No I'm not savy with the boats yet ,I have been in the rc world for years with cars and planes...but most of my experience is with 1/8 buggies. I've have a vxl brushless system for a little over a year and lipos about as long. Because that system was rtr I never really had to deal with trimming and such. I bought the boat with the 7xl and two 200a esc's .

Then upon reading about diesels 7xl I bought the wire drive and used the same couple and vacumen hose cap to keep grease out of the hull(awesome video and very fast)
After that I seen the carnage of the prototype ul1 with the 7xl I bought the prop used cause the guy said it was fast
The carbon fiber sceme I made up from my car building experience
And the deck lid I made from the side of a mail tote

I hope to get more picks up so please bare with me ....and one final thing is 4s is what was used with the boats I copied...I just figured that the 200a esc was good for 6s

Laddie, you have some great advice. I might suggest the next time that you be directed by some lads that know their stuff prior to purchasing a dubious setup.
