I'm really concerned about this. I need to buy a 1527 but don't like the looks of what they have done to their motors. It looks like they have greatly reduced the quality and dependability of what was already an expensive motor! Now what? I have had two Leopard 5692's throw the magnets and take out a Castle 240HV on each occasion. I can't afford any more of that!!Mini Cat Racing USA

That being said, I'm kinda bummed since I recently sold my awesome 1.5Y neu that was built last year for this motor (wanted more KV vs. more prop)... the leads on the old motor do look a lot better.

I do have the new 2215. I'm pleased with the changes they mad to that. I think it's a safer approach. Doesn't seem cheaper to me but I wont know how it runs until it gets wet.
Has anyone summarized the changes? I'll be checking the gangs boats in the club. See who has what.Noisy personComment
