    is there a hobby shop for boat or boat parts close to dallas?

      The only place local I've found is Wild Bill's in Irving. Mike's Hobby Shop in Carrollton is where I buy everything else.

              The hobbytown in northpark or mid park is the biggest Ive seen and stock alot of parts I'm not sure which it is but it's next door to Dave and busters

                      I have yet to find a LHS that has much to offer as far as FE boats go. Graves RC in FL isn't bad but the boat stuff pails in comparison to the car/truck and flight stuff.
