How do you charge your new lipos

Is their any particular way anyone charges their new lipos to get the best performance out of them rather than just balance charging once & then useing them, I think id seen something or other about charging & then discharging for a number of times before useing them in the boat. Any info on this appreciated on different things to do regarding charging new packs . Thanks Martin.

I know a lot of people say you should cycle the packs a few times before you get optimum performance out of them. Most chargers take FOREVER to discharge a pack. I just charge 'em and use 'em....hoping performance will improve after a few runs.

I am with Sail on this one , it doesnt "hurt" the packs to charge and then run , others may disagree but this is just my own thoughts. Make sure you use a lvc (low voltage cut off) as overdischarging can damage the packs and even damage your boat!!! As for charging and some do and some dont , I balance charge mine each and every time I charge that way my lipos have great numbers across all the cells.
        You broke what?!?!?
