r the castle hydras 240 ok to run on 5s ,i want more speed as we all do ,have heard they may puff on 6s ,but is 5s ok constantly ??? ,

As a general rule it is best to never run an ESC at its maximum rated voltage. I've never run a Hydra on 5S but if you keep the amperage draw down it should be okay as the max voltage is 6S. I assume you mean the 240LV.
