I am thinking of converting the flying fish boat I acquired today to a recovery boat.

The boat has twin 380 brushed motors but does not have an esc at the moment so I would need to get an esc for it.
I also plan to add a rudder.

I am wondering are the 380s worth messing with or would something else like twin 540s be a better choice & what esc would I need to run them?
Any & all opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Obviously I want it to be reliable & have some decent power.
