    expresscraft thunderbolt

    Thinking about doing an expresscraft thunderbolt fe conversion this is a 50" cat
    meant for gas motors just wondering if anyone else has had any expierience with expresscraft or the thunderbolt any input would be apprieciated heres a linkhttp://www.expresscraft.com/thunderbolt.htm

    i was thinking twin leo 5692 1090kv and twin swordfish 240hv on 16s (8s each side) or 5692 1340kv for a hot setup about 39000 rpm

        I'm sure some do. It's a neat looking hull. I almost bought one a while back as a gasser.
        I maybe building a FE version later this year for some one with twins in it. When i do I'll post it up here in the build threads.

        You want to run 8S per motor right? I have seen one of these run 6S with twin castle 1717's two seeking 180 esc's with cap boards and get in the 60's. He can run WOT for 3mins with no heat issues. Nice guy too. I am planning something like that with a comparable motor since 1717's aren't around much now.
        I think the turn off to the larger gasser hulls is it takes more to push them. But it's cool to see a bigger boat going down the lake. Gas or electric.

            yeah 8s per motor bieng that its a bigger hull i assumed it could handle some power and speed thats also why i was thinking the 240 hv's would be a good match plus im looking at
            maybe 80 to 100 mph idk i might be dreaming but i would shure like to try any more info would be greatly apprieciated thanks
            does anyone know where to get stingers for a twin setup that woud work with a .250 cable?
