    Ib4200's

Ok this is just kinda making me mad!
I had a couple packs of IB4200's that i ran in my boats for racing, I sold them to go buy lipo of course ( what everyone is doing now).
I get a call from the guy saying these packs have dead cells in them, I said No way cuz i used them. So being the guy i am i returned his money and i got "newly pooched packs"
I ask him to bring what he used the charge the packs to the meeting.
So we are at the meeting he was using a ni-Cd charger to charge them, I couldn't very well do anything about it.
    Man some people!

wow. ...and the guy you sold 'em to wouldn't own up to it being his error after finding out it was a Ni-cd charger? he couldn't at least meet you halfway?

lame. If he's gonna race next season, the only proper thing to do is enter all the classes he's in and crush him every single race. That oughta make you feel a little better.:D

Not taking any sided here but the V delta is not that great between Nicd and Nimh, I would be suprised if that would ruin the packs but then again the 4200's are pretty fragile.

          Cheers,
          Jim

Oh, the IB4200's will vent on a NICAD charger, very fragile to over charging. Of course cells go dead just sitting as well.
