Motor was the new Thunder Power Z3R 17.5T Stock Spec 540 Sensored Brushless

Prop started life as an Octura X435...

Thunder Power Pro Power G4 45C 2S pack for the battery...

Not that there's anything wrong with that. haha

This happens a lot. The form is filled out by the racer. We can build a masterpiece that is a blend of science fiction and art but we can't print to save our lives. It's like being a doctor. I've seen record runs, inspected the boat, and then had the form come back to sign and not been able to tell what it says.

Nice job Darin. Now cut it out! N1.

Hahahaha... we'll see after LA... I'm going to the LA SAW with Brian in April and these N1 boats are all I can afford to run!

I'm a little concerned, however, after hearing the stories of races having to be called down there before due to bodies floating up... I'll have to stick close to Brian!

Hey Tony, it's Mike. I met you the other day down at legg lake at the race march 13. You mentioned getting together this weekend 26/27 to do some boating. I have the MG and I know you want to get your hands on it. I was hoping we could try out some props and gps them? I'm running an m445 right now. Maybe i could bring my balancer and you could give me some tips on doing that as well.

After watching you get thrown in on Sat I can't help but want the same for myself :)

Seems like you are the guy to go to in this area. After talking with you more about classes I want to run LSO cats? or is LSO just LSO? If there are any classes i could competitively run my SV in that would be nice other wise i plan on getting either a df 34 or the aeromarine Titan 33 and dropping in a leopard motor with a t180.

Only issue now is batteries. Even at rcx show price the thunderpower 4s 5000 mah 65 c batts are 200 a piece and i'm not sure i want to spend 400 on batteries. A little bit more then 500 at their regular asking price.

I noticed you were using the turnigy nano tecs as well. Longevity aside do the TP packs substantially out preform the turnigy's. Being as i can get 2 of them for less then one TP pack i'm struggling to see the cons of turnigy here. I asked the TP rep what makes their pack so much better, he said they just use higher quality stuff. I asked about chemistry but he didn't have much to say there. he also told me the nano tecs are just a fancy name.

Any how are you still available this weekend?
