A Tribute to Peter Zicha!

I feel Pete's pain in operating and meeting demands of personal and business and feel it's appropriate to create a tribute thread to his works to show how much his works are appreciated and what his time and efforts went towards.

So here is... A tribute to Peter Zicha!
(mods please move if in the wrong category, wasn't sure where to start this one)


I've called upon Pete to solve some big problems and he delivered. Not only timely, but on the mark!

I have dozens of photos of the things he's made, but will start with these;

I have also had the pleasure of dealing with him a couple times. He made a couple special quick change 2215 mounts for my CT04. Also he made a mount for my Osprey for a 1527. He even removes the burrs!!! I wish I had pictures loaded on this computer but a quick glimpse can be seen in this video...

Peters work is second to none and his pricing is always more than fair. It is sad that he closing up shop but health and family are first priority.

Peter will have some time to get things done for himself now and I am sure that we will see a couple of cool build threads from him

i am waiting for peter to do another build thread...i have watched his sniper videos countless times and then i had to try to build one..of course not on the level that peter brings to the table..just awesome...the thing i like about peters work is that it not only looks killer but it solves problems that normal hardware does not address at all...not to mention hes a great guy on top of all that which is the most important

He did the mounts in my son's Intruder.

I was gonna mention those as well. the Zichanator !!! we went back and forth on the design of those, sketches and measurements. He even sent me a version 2 when the first ones didn't work for some reason that I missed in my drawings.

Peter's work is second to none, he takes the time and goes beyond it to help us all out. I always look forward to seeing his work when we are out at the pond. It always amazes me the detail and workmanship that he puts into his builds and it reflects on the parts that he has built for many of us here.
