    Aveox 380 Motor Question

I was looking for a 380 size motor for a little hull i have so i posted a WTB here on OSE....Alexgar responded with a few motor's called Aveox, He's got a 1406 3000kv 37x48 aveox powerhouse pounder along with a aveox xl. Can anyone tell me alittle about these....Are they good?.....Better than a 380 Feigao xl?..Thanks guys

Aveox made some very high quality b/l motors. Much better than a fiego. Originally the motors were meant to run with a sensor but they are easily removed and run well on non sensored (sp?) controllers.

They used to supply the hobby industry in the 90's. From what I understood they got fed up with us knuckle heads and geared their product for professional needs. Still a very good motor. 4 pole and very smooth.

Aveox made great motors. I flew one to 5th place at the 1998 F5D world champs (1409/1y with custom rotors).

The 1406 is a serious motor for a small boat. It's more the size of a 540S Feigao.
