Looks like you have been 'copying' one of the old Whitehead designs. Less the lobster claw sponson.

      Thanks guys

      To answer questions:

Yes, Kirk is sitting in for the foto op.

      Sailr,
Yes they will be available after I get the first one tested and make sure it's everything it's supposed to be. It uses the geometry off my DH Picklefork so it should be pretty good.

Price, I don't know yet. Not cheap, it's all vacuum bagged epoxy glass. There's a bunch of time in building one. The boat in the picture is 2.75 lb as it sits with the cowl, it's pretty much bullet proof as built.

      Mike L. You have PM.

Alan, that's because Kevin and I both like the same boat as a design base for a race boat.

If they'd only do that at my pond. I'd get all my lost props and boats!!

Yeah but it's not pumpkin orange! And Kirk needs a marby sticking out of his mouth!!!

I still think you have Kevin trapped in your garage in a large dog shelter furiously hammering out sport hydro design!!!! LOL

Forgive my ignorance, but what are the sizes of this boat?

This hull is right on the 1/10 scale measurements. It's 34.2" long and 17" wide. Depending on what boat you build, they will range roughly 33-39".

Dam - those trained glue monkies make super nice boats.

Will watch this thread with interest Brian. Might have to ship a few of these down under to Australia.

Nice lines. Looking foward to hearing how it goes.
                  Whats you planned setup Brian.

                  19 series Neu?

If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

I hope you set the test boat up with the motors allowed in the 1/10th scale class such as SV27, UL-1, etc to give us a true test of this new hull for use in the official class. Of course anyone can build one as a P sport hydro using anything they want but there is growing interest in scale and I for one believe you should pursue initial testing in that arena. Just my opinion.

Under the current 1/10 sale rules I don't believe the UL-1 is a legal motor is it?

Rod, I may have mispoken. You're the expert on 1/10th scale. I defer to you on that one! Remind me which motors qualify? I know the SV27 is included. Which others?

Don't think it has changed, The only legal motors in the 1/10 scale classes are Black Jack 26, SV-27 and the Himax 3630-1500KV
BTW not and expert just a LUCKY HACK LOL!!

Thanks Rod. I know the boat I got from you rocks with a SV27 in it! No need for more power for sure! Can't wait to enter it at the nats this year!
