    Which batteries

If you guys had the choice which batteries would you run
The IB3600, 3800 or 4200. I realize most of you would go with lipos, but I am not sure that I am ready to pay that price just yet. I probably should but I have to be carefull since the wife is already pissed about the boat. lol

For my 2 cents --- If you don't have a charger get one that will charge both NiMH & Lipo's! Before deciding if you are going to go with a high line Nimh check with Battlepack he has some great deals on Lipos to get you started! Maybe a little more than you want to spend but worth it in the end!

Hey maybe you could ask Mrs Claus for the LIPO's!

Reddy, there good prices on the IB cells. I have hear that even the 3600's now are being made differnt, not the same as they were 6 months ago. Either way 30 bucks for a flat built pack is pretty darn good price.

Has anyone tryed the 4600 packs yet?

I already have chargers for nimh and nicd so thats just another expense. I will probably eventually go to lipo, I am just not ready to make the jump yet.

All the ib cells are now built the same way. so get the capacity you would like to get.

If you purchase IB cells made in packs from someone that has old ones, they will not be any good. NIMH cells that are left on the shelf will self discharge and lose capacity. Make certian the packs are made from fresh cells.

Those prices on that link are amazing, I would try them if I were running NIMH
