If you are working for a company with a high volume discount with UPS, then yes, it may be a little cheaper. If you work for such a large company that uses UPS and you got the quote through their contract, it is not a realistic comparison. As an individual or small business like ours, UPS is definitely more expensive than Fedex ground. We have accounts with both and every time we compare, UPS is the MOST expensive solution of anyone AND they are notorious for breaking stuff.

Certainly agree a first hand inspection before purchase and subsequent personal pickup is the best of all worlds!

You can ship USPS parcel post.. Thats the cheapest way but it takes usually 4-6 days. I sell bodies for the 1/5th scale trucks and have to ship boxes that are 36"x20"x12" and USPS parcel is usually half the cost of Fed Ex. It all depends on how far it also, but usually it's at least half the cost.

Yea it turns out I'm not going to be able to make it up there to pick it up this week, so it willl be gettin shipped. I'd say that that box size would have to be pretty close to what it'll be in, not sure how much it will weigh but shouldn't be much, thanks for the reply
