    Cheapest way to ship 1/12 miss bud??

    hey guys, I found a boat on CL, and the seller has requested me to pay actual shipping, I was just wandering what the best route is and how much i could expect to pay without getting hosed....

        any input would be appreciated, I've never shipped a boat, only fourwheel parts and such and ups seemed to be the best, I just did'nt want to end up paying $35 when i could have only been paying $15 or $20

          I work with shipping dept at work, ups is cheapest but fed-x handles packages better with care

            thanks for the input, don't like buying stuff off CL without seeing it in person but seemed like a decent guy to deal with, since I'm payin for the shipping I figured I'd better do sum homework...

              NO! NOT UPS! They are very high priced. Use Fedex Ground! Fast, Safe, Cheap. That is how we ship everything too big to go priority mail. UPS could break an anvil I swear!

                yes...thats true but ups is cheaper, thats what he is asking, i think it can vary also from state to state, ground is cheapest, heck....for no further than u two are, ya mabey should see if he will meet ya half way, that way you can look the boat over, my 3 cents

                    Yea a road trip might be my best bet, supposed to be "like new never in the water" but I don't have alot to go off of, just some cell phone pics...

                          I totally agree on this.... UPS is terrible.... I actually try and ship usps if possible, I feel they take the best care of the packages.. imho... even if it costs a little more... fed ex is great too...
