    Kyosho Hurricane

I just ran my Hurricane that I bought years ago for the first time. I did not GPS it but I was pretty impressed for a first run. I still need to put on the tabs and turn fins. The boat can and will swap ends on you in a turn.

A pair of stock lemans motors, an EVX esc and a pair of cheap venom 7.2 3000.
I would guess it about 20mph. I need to rewire the motors, I was in a hurry and did not hook them up right so I'm not sure if they were getting all the power.
The Manx has been sitting dormant, but I think I finally have my motivation back. I hope to see it float soon.

    Sounds like your having fun.

I love that boat!! I bought one off ebay about a year ago. Just haven't had time to build it.

That boat is on my "to get" list. The heatWave GP version would be a good hull to mod also. I see them all the time but I'm not ready to make a move on one yet. Please try to get some video and good data on it for us!!

I am going to test it completely with the stock motors
and then a single brushed motor
after that I will throw in the SV electronics

Nice man. I really want to see how it handles @ higher speeds then it was designed for.

thought you guys might like a pic. Not sure what I am going to do with this project now because I hatch tape started to tear up the decals and I do not want to mess them up any more. I might just self it for now rather than go fwd.
