    Converting to brushless questions?

hey guys newbie here to the brushless stuff. thinking about picking up a Miss Budweiser 1/12th scale hydro similar to this

And i'm wondering what exactly would I need to convert this to a brushless setup capable of 40mph range. I'd also like to keep it running on a single 4S Lipo if possible. Thanks in advance for any help

Hey Jeff! I didn't know you were into boats also Ya I thought about that boat also.. But it seems like it needs a bunch of upgrades? Is the stock ESC and motor good enough? Or would it be worth upgrading that stuff?

Yeah boats is how I met Kevin then met you.
Just about done building my 48" gas mono.
About to start building a 1/10 scale Thunderboat to race with local club.

I'm no expert as I am still learning.
I am sure someone will chime in to answer your question.
Just seems unless you buy a bare hull your kinda wasting money on converting a gas boat when you could already buy 1 RTR & get the hang of it then upgrade later if you wanted.

Have a look here plenty of info for you
