Power for my new rigger ??

Here is my theory so far.
The existing hull runs a 540-S can and works well on 3S with a 100A esc and about 3600mAh pack. After 6 passes the motor is hot (watercooled) the esc is well warm and the packs are warm-hot. I am happy with this setup, I know props change it all.

My big cat runs a pair of 36mm dia outrunners on 100A escs a side off a 4500 mAh pack. This one comes in with motors and escs hot (aircooled) and the packs well warm but not hot.
I reason that as each side gets half off the 4500 mAh so 2250mAh each side and the power systems survive.

If you are still reading then I have your attention.
I know the cat is on twins but suspect the effort on the power system is similar to a hydro or close to a rigger.

With this info I am prepared to have a crack at repowering the rigger, with a new tub as well, with a setup that will be close to what the big cat runs.
This will be a L size IR motor or a 36mm OR motor with a 120A esc and about 3000-3600 mah of pack.
It will be a 4-5S setup to keep amps down and should be a royal hoot.

FWIW the rigger will, as riggers should, run a nuts high rpm. 35-40krpm......maybe more

Anyone care to point out the errors of my thinking.
    See it....find the photos.....sketch it it....build it........with wood

Well, I've done something similarly crazy in a sport hydro. I took my 25" Dark Horse picklefork to a 2-lap. I ran a Scorpion HK03026-1210 on 8S 3850's, a CC Phoenix Ice 100 and a 38mm prop. Pulled about 900mah for 3.5 laps (warm up lap, 2 timed laps and a half lap return to shore). Motor was cool, ESC was cool, batteries were cold. 2-lap time was 25.5xx seconds on the 1/6 mile oval.

I figured I was going to nuke something, instead the power system wasn't even breathing hard. High voltage does buy you some efficiency.
