    motor esc cut off

    running Swordfish 240hv ESC on a Leopard 5692 Motor 1340kv with 4s 5000mah the esc cut of after about 4-6sec on full throttle??

    esc and motors are cold.

    Any ideas?

    what voltage do you have the LVC set at. If you have it set to auto, manually change it 4s.

    If you unplug the esc and let it set about 10 seconds and plug it back in does it work after that?

      I dont even have to turn the esc off it come back after like 2sec

        The voltage is prob dipping below the cutoff point you have set . The first few seconds of running (getting the boat on plane) draws a lot of amps. Try manually setting the voltage to 4s & turn the cut out to soft...

          Sounds like you need 4s2p. What's the setup?

            Yes I agree with Rum, that motor on the spec sheets has a max amp rating at 180amps. You def need a 2p setup.

            Also check you timing on that motor. It's a "D" wind so timing should be on the low setting.
