    Genesis verses geico

I installed a leapord 1500kv in genny and a castle 1800kv 1512 in geico, genny has a seaking 180 amp esc and geico has a 125 amp turnigy, i ran both boats same day , same water conditions and geico is clearly the faster of the two, seems i went backwards on the builds .......wanted the genny to be faster one of two, running 6s on both, waiting for prop to come, what can i push on the genesis batterys wise for speed passes, temps are pretty cool in her right now.....the geico is getting reworked and is getting some high readings on the esc turning a x642 running at 125 degrees but motor is cool, didnt get to gps due to crap weather the next day but there both in the 60mph marks, any suggestions ????

well obviously the Gen is much bigger than the Geico so its not surprising the Geico is faster. I really think your Geico needs a T180 though......................................... The fact that your hitting 60mph with ur Gen on that motor is pretty surprising though, hard to believe actually, i sure wouldn't be dissapointed in that!! Is the Gen 6s2p?? I'm thinking it would need to be for best results.

so you have 2x3s in series??? that would be 6s1p, The Gen probably needs 6s2p, like 2x3s in parrallel connected in series to another pair of 2x3s in parrallel for a total of 6s2p. That bigger boat is gonna need to pull more amps and i doubt 6s1p can deliver.
