    Hello and some advice please

Hi joined the forum as i have a project underway and would like some advice. I have started to build a Lesro Javelin it is a semi scale deep V offshore racer of the 80s a boat i lusted after as a child. The kit was designed for a 2.5cc gas engine but i'd like to use electric in it it is a heavy boat which iam not concerned with. I am looking at using a standard propshaft set up and brushed motor maybe a 700bb turbo.

Any advice welcome i'm not looking to break records but i do want it to look good.

Here is a picture of Javelin

It is 38" i have no running gear as yet but the plan just shows a standard brass prop tube with 4mm shaft.

What size brushless i was looking at some designed for 1/8 cars around the 2000kv band?

Castle 1717 would be a good choice at only 70 bucks now at Castle. Run a prop on the smaller side for some decent speed but semi-scale running on 4-5s...........maybe an x445. A Turnigy/seaking 180a ESC should power it well.
NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...est!&highlight=
