    Hello, and a question!

I'm new to the boating, and so far so good. I picked up a sv 27 used, with the UL1 motor and speed control. Pretty good machine, and my other project is a Traxxas Blast that is being rigged up as a rescue boat, to tow the Sv and my float plane project.

The Question? I installed a MR200 rx into the SV, and I picked up a DX2S for it. After binding, it only accepts full reverse as full stop, and at the neutral position it's givin'er. I have tried binding several times, to make sure everything was at center on the Tx, no luck so far. I have been able to fix the problem by putting the OEM radio back in..

I've tried reverse, etc.. Travel, throttle, brake the whole works. If anyone has further insight on how to fix this, that would be great, thanks!

I did think about that, wouldn't that reverse the direction the prop is turning? It's turning in the right direction, the only thing that changed before the problem was the Tx/rx. Reinstalling the original radio solved the problem.

Either way, I will try anything at this point, and I will advise on how it goes.

      Thanks!

You're right. I assumed the prop was sinning in reverse (wrong way)

Reverse the TX, then cycle power to the TX and re-bind. I'm guessing here because I never used 2.4 I'm strictly FM

          Welcome to OSE.

On your dx2s select the proper model for your sv, go into the list menu scroll down until you see "reverse" and swap the throttle option. See if that helps if it doesn't try going into the "travel" menu and turning the "B" percentage down.... Here's the manual to help http://www.horizonhobby.com/ProdInfo...ser_Manual.pdf
I have the dx3s and I assume other then the 3rd channel and 5 extra memory models they seem to be the same... Great radio's!

*Also when you bind make sure all your fail-safes are set meaning whatever is being turned or pressed when you bind thats what going to happen if the rx should lose signal so if you are squeezing full throttle when you bind that's whats going to happen if you rx should fail or lose signal. Just an FYI...

Still no luck. I tried reverse, that made the WOT position zero throttle position.. Switching reverse made the full back throttle position the zero throttle position. I am wondering if the speed control can talk to this radio at all, or maybe the MR200 isn't compatible. It's not on the list in the book. I also tried the travel adjust, that then disallowed the ESC to intitialize at all. Either way, I'm going to the pond tomorrow, to run it on the old radio..!

Any chance there's something in the programming of the ESC that I'm missing? Oh well keep trying..!

Thanks guys, keep the good hints coming.
