Color Red

When I sell somthing I would like to put (SOLD) ind red I pick the color Red and it still comes out Black is there a trick to it ???? HELP

Nova, if you are seeing red now, all i did after i typed it was highlight all the wording and then selected the color red from the chart.
if you dont see red, then I screwed up. LOL
