hey im new here and dont know much about the sport. im looking to see what type of water cooling systems there are out there. i have my mamba monster 2200 and a cooling jacket for it already. i was wondering if there is any type of pump to pump water through the water jacket? also is there some kind of radiator i could buy to cool that water? i know this may sound really dumb and random but it is a project i am working on and would just like some help/feedback. if anyone has anything on this subject it would be great help...?

most often a water pick up is installed on the transom of the boat, in the bottom of the hull, or in the rudder. Water is circulated through the components, and ejected out the side of the hull.
There are several different styles of pick ups.
There are circulating pumps available, used, I believe, mostly on nitro motors to keep them cool when idling, but I know nothing about them.

A radiator doesnt do a whole lot of good if air isnt moving through it, keep that in mind. Is this for a land based vehicle? You could use aluminum tubing and coil it back and forth for a radiator. It would work if you had air going through it, but so would a heat sink. The whole idea of a radiator/heat exchanger is to relocate the area where the air does the cooling. If you can get the air directly to the heat source, its often more efficient.Comment

Dude you aint going to need any cooling in a mamba monster 2200kv in a slash, heck if you burn that motor up in a slash i'll buy you a new one!!! LOL
They sell an electric fan unit for it, but ive never even needed that, and i'm running that motor in my Hyper ST Pro 1/8 truggy. which is way heavier than a slash, that motor is gonna tear your slash to pieces, seriously...................guy around here has one with that motor and its totally unpractical, BUT i can understand if you want to bash like heck!!Comment
