didn't bookmark it but it was something like canadiangps.com or something. Did a google.ca search for waterproof gps receiver data logger and it was one of the top few links that showed up.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

      Nor I,

I have an eagle tree en-route from Kintec. But I'm already set up with a gps unit.

The eagle tree looks like a good option to consider, but does anyone know how it holds up against getting dunked in the lake??

Your looking at around $150 for the eagle tree 150 amp paired with a GPS unit, but you get the advantage of data logging lots of directly useful information with the eagle tree.

For an inexpensive starter unit, that $26 data logger takes a lot stress out of frying it if it happens to get soaked or ejected.

      Decisions, decisions

Probably Canada GPS. I have bought from them before. I'll check it out.

My Eagle tree Has been submerged for several min. and wet many times and still works great. The GPS got wet once and then I waterproofed it by sealing the ends with kitchen and bath silicone. When I bought this it was for the boat, now I use it in all my RCs.By the way after being submerged it still had all the data in there, just blew it off with an air hose.

Yea that thing is a blast to have when some one tells you their RC will do XX MPH and you offer to hitch it up to your BS detector.I have the one with deans connectors which I use on almost everything so hookups take seconds and I have a patch of velcro on the GPS.Even if the vehicle does not have the right connectors I hitch it to one of my small helicopter batteries and it will tell the GPS speed of anything including your speed holding it in your hand.

I already have a couple GPS units that I can use, so I'm not going to invest in the GPS for the Eagle Tree for now. But I do have an Eagle Tree on order. I knew some guys were using them in boats, so I figured ii would be handy for dialing in set ups and what not, I just wasn't sure I would use it for extreme high speed runs or other times the risk of ditching the boat was higher.

But now I feel confident to use it any time, regardless of the risk of dunking it.
