I am going to run two 3s 5000mah packs in series. Run time will not be very long. It will be heavier than the boat you are running with another motor and speed control and battery. I hope to hit 65. I might be interested in your 10xl, if the price is right.

Yea I am running 2 3s 6000mah nano-techs in mine. It doesn't turn very well with the batts in the center of the hull. Gotta take wide turns or slow down a lot. I only run it at a few quick passes then bring it in. I can't wait to try the bigger props. Hopefully sometime in the next few days I will and maybe get some video as well.

So your gonna run both motors off the same bank of batteries?

Can I run both two 3s batteries in series to both amps. Planning to run both esc on the same bank of batteries. Am I totally screwed up in my thinking????? Do I have to run a pack for each motor and esc seperately?

You can run one battery to each motor or you can run 2 batteries in series for 6s total, but you have to parallel them at the esc's.This requires that you make adapters to do so.Im not sure how to do it,but Tiqueman knows and he posted pics of his adapters somewhere on here.

I can make adaptors, no problem. Thanks for the info. I did some more research, I hope I did not open up a Chevy vs Ford argument. It seems many people have some strong opinions on this topic.

I havent tried the parallel esc thing.I run my twin with a batt for each motor and it runs great.Maybe Ill try paralleling some day, when my boat breaks down for a while.Get that thing going and meet up with us.Johnson and I have twin cats and Suckmywake has a badass mono coming together. We usually run every weekend and sometimes after work.

Cool, I will get a hold of you when I am ready to go. The boat is off getting a coat of carbon fiber right now. I have a 32" cat single screw. I have a new leopard motor to put in it this week. I still have to order a x642 to get it up and going.
