    RC Trim Tabs

Iam looking for rc operated trim tabs, Are they out there? Simply Question!

If not has anyone made any scratch built ones? An if so what advise do you have on them.

I have thought about making them using a tab which is hinged, with a servo on its side an push rod. Would this work or should i go back to the drawing board?

any relative information would be great

There is a member here with servo actuated tabs. I can't remember his name but the boat has an MHZ Z drive and what looks like MHZ tabs that have pushrods coming through.

Found it. Look closely at the trim tab in the picture in post #5.

Here is my Expresscraft Seahawk with the MHZ S6 Outdrive & remote operated trim on the drive & tabs.
The arms on the trim tabs I had made on a wire edm where I used to work. They are attached directly to a traxxas waterproof servo inside the boat.
The outdrive can be remotely trimmed as well, there is a sail winch servo inside the radio box that spins a cable with a threaded end to push the outdrive up.
I was using an old 4-channel FM radio that I moved 2 of the channels to another set of sticks for the trim functions. I now use a cheap Futaba FHSS 4-channel radio that will eventually get the extra trim sticks.

            Super cool setup!!!!

One day I'm going to get a bug up my a$$ and build a 60" mono with twin S6 drives and monster BL motors and all the trim automated like that for the ultimate scale build.
