Shipping a used boat customs info?

Just bought a SV off the forum here, any tips on filling out the customs stuff for a used boat?
Had smaller stuff shipped up here but never a whole boat!
    Thanks for the info
    Cheers
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

Aw crap a typical question from the centre of the universe. The seller has to state what the goods are and value. B.C. rules by the way...does Ontario have any hockey teams?

Junior teams! LOL Don't think I've watched a game since the strike! I like football, especially college ball. LOL Huskies fan! Washington that is.
LOL lived in that dank dark hell hole you call the lower mainland for a short while, loved the rest of the province. Then spent 5 years living on the side of the mountains with the good snow! Not that west coast cement!
As we say here thank god for that great winter weather in Vancouver where the suicide rate triples!
Hey look at that it's the sun outside my window! remember what that is? grin! I think they scheduled the sunny day for you on June 16th this year!
      And the parting shot ICBC!
Thanks for the info, love an exchange of greeting with a fellow Canadian.

I would input "Toy Boat" (you don't have to get very specific) and the value, then check the "gift" box. Many things pass through customs unchecked, or run through an x-ray machine.

In my experience i have found that large things like boats wont pass through without a charge. I have been hit twice with boats now.

Hobby king sends it with the senders last name the same as the person receiving it. Then marks it toys/gift. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help, it was shipped as gift/toy boat, tracking says it's on the way, it will probably sit in customs for a week!
18" of ice on the pond so it will be a new shelf queen for a few months still.
                Thanks again all
