How long with no cooling?

I have another post aboust flush water pick ups and opened them up as per discussion. How long can I run without cooling as in im going to the pond now and am going to test it but dont want to burn anything up. Im guess a couple of minutes and then bring it in to check temps? Help.o

Start at 1 Minute - check temps. Then go another minute - check temps. If everything is ok then start longer runs at 2 then 3 minutes and check after each run.

Thanks will give it a shot. If these things dont perform today they are comming out and im going back to rudder pick up!

Yes running cooling but they are flush hull pickups. Havent had any luck getting flow. I can blow through everything easily but running in water no matter what speed im getting no dishcharge visable anyway. Modded them by opening the mouth to see if it works if not gonna scrap em.

I think he has the through hull pickups but is doubting they will work. so preparing for a worst case scenario he was asking about no cooling.
