cavitation??

    cavitation??

    hi,

    need advice on how to remedy this mono hull, I am using a grauper 2327.29 prop

    and self right on current weight distribution,what causes it to plane too slowly

    and what could be a possible solution...

    check the video and you see the problem I want to fix

    Many surface drive monos take a while to plane out. This can be caused by a too-small prop, a prop with damaged blades, a prop of the wrong design, or it may just be the way it is. Metal props will sometimes reduce the cavitation since the blades don't bend and flex. The cavitation in the video is not that bad and could be caused by any of the above.

      Think of cavitation as a clutch it is not really a bad thing if you want to turn big props

        thanks,ill try to put bigger prop it might improve its slow planing
