Read closely, description says motor mount for 36mm motor, not 40mm.

They also changed the rudder from a dual intake rudder to a less expensive single and take another feed from the transom.

If I ran mostly 6s I would get a swordfish 240. Not sure what I want to do. I don't want to rely on the seaking 180 or sf200 for 6s all the time, but the jump to the HV is pretty big in price.
Ran my T-180 on 6s more than i did on 5s with no issue's at all.

He'll only need a 40mm Tail ring...The mount will accommodate a 4082 in lenth and as well as motor's screw mount.

I run my T180's on 6s with the bec............one with a Neu1527 and one with the 1717.................never one problem. Probably have 50 runs on the Neu setup and 20 on the 1717............i may be one of the "lucky" ones, but i dont see a problem doing it personally.

          To each his own..........

That's why God made Zip-ties lol...

Only the support ring is different and I think I have a extra 40mm laying around so it won't be an issue.

            * Interesting on the T-180's. I just never was a fan of pushing the esc's to thier voltage limits though. Would save A LOT of money though. I may run the T-180 on 5s mostlt and throw in 6s for some speed runs. Would be nice to save that extra cash and not need a HV esc. Thank's for all the advice.

I have one of the 41" Osprey hulls which is the same hull, I was also looking at putting a Leopard 4082 1500kv on 6s. Would i get away with a T 180 esc or a Swordfish 200, Which would be the best choice between these 2 esc. Also what props would work well on this set up. Thanks Martin.
