So, I have come acrost another question. What should I do for battery trays? I want something that will allow me to use 2 4 or 5s in parellel or 2 and 3s in series but be able to secure the batteries down tight. What should I do?

I use velcro. I smear expoxy on the bottom of the velcro on top of the sticky side then put in place and go around the edges with ca glue.... Works like a charm for me.

Sounds good to me. I was reading in another post about "industrial" velcro, where do you get that?

Home Depot or Lowes should have that.

Do you smear the epoxy on to the sticky self adhesive then put in the boat, If so im surprised it sticks well because the epoxy wouldnt be stuck to the velcro itself but to the sticky adhesive. Or am i miss reading what you do Thanks Martin.

That's what I do and that's what works for me. And if I don't have epxoy I just smear CA on the sticky side instead. Works just great... Its simple, don't over think it....( I don't mean that as a smarta$$) It just makes the velcro's sticky even more sticky lol...

The big thing is laying epoxy or ca all along the edges really well to help keep any water from getting under to the sticky side and also once one edge starts to peal the whole thing normaly starts. It's also good to lay the velcro down in a warm place & store it in a warmer place. It don't adhere really well in th cold.

Hey diesel, I saw your picture and you had the short red water jacket ment for the leopard but I was looking at this one which is also ment for it but longer.

Will this fit in that mount with the exception of the rear support? I can just zip tie it like you did.

I have the short jacket as well.............fits with the stock rear support, no need for the long jacket on these efficient, cool running Leopards

Ok, then is there any difference between this cooling jacket http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...-leopard-4074L
and the red one? I ask because the red one is out of stock right now.

Just a few mm's in size............it'll work just fine. I got the Red one cuz it was in stock at the time, i actually like the look of that aluminum one better.

I don't want to pester and I know I keep asking similar questions but this is just the way I learn. Anyhow, I would like to know if you have two motors one running 4s at 30,000rpm and another running 5s at 30,000rpm and they are exactly the same otherwise. What is the difference in performance? Does the 5s run less amps? More torque?

Just curious, I have learned alot about FE from everyone here and I really appreciate the help! I'm just the type that asks lots of questions before acting so I don't screw anything up.
