Thank you thank you thank you everyone.
Her kidney function is improving, but not quite there yet. Her respritory function took a serious nosedive tonight, she had my dad (who has not left her side since the start) call the family to the hospital as if to say goodbye. We all rushed over there, I had to have my co-worker run a call for me on his day off. She is having difficulty breathing and severe chest pain. Hospital staff were attending to 2 other seroius escilations on the wing. The lung specialist opted not to give her breathing therapy because he said it would not help. I started to get a bit irate with the staff sayng that she sounds like she's drowning in her bed. My dad had to calm me down. I just hope that my quick temper will make a fool of me. We have put our trust in these people and sometimes I feel I could do a better job of it from watching discovery health channel. My dad asked me to go home with my daughter to calm down. I took a pic before I left the hospital a few minutes ago.
Please Please keep up the prayers and well wishes. I do believe it was making a difference.

            Thank you again.

                Danny,
Thanks for the update and hang in there. It is difficult to watch a loved one go through this kind of thing. I took care of my mom while she was fighting with cancer and it was hard to watch. I know prayers and positive energy make a difference, it did with my mom. The part that troubled me the most was the helpless feeling I had that I couldn't do anything to fix it. Your not the only one who has a quick temper. Know that we here on the board are with you and we will keep praying for all of your family in this time of need. Keep your chin up!
God bless you and your family!
                sincerely,
                Chris

Did the same thing when my mother was in very bad shape. All I could tell the doctor was he would do the same thing if it was his mother laying there...seemed to make him understand a bit better.

Hang in there...medical technology is amazing.

Be strong...the rest of them need you....especially your father. Mine did the same and has taken care of my Mom for the last 10 years. A true champion husband and I remind her all the time what Dad has gone thru for her...hundreds of hours by her side over the last 10 years. She knows and says she could not have a better husband.

Hang, tough, Danny. You have to be the go-to-guy and also listen to the Doc so you can help your Father understand...it is not easy trying to get solid info out of Doctors.
