Varies club to club. I would say most clubs allow any speed control.

There are no national rules regarding speed controls, you will have to check with the host club for a definitive ruling.

as of right now, the spec classes being run by the local namba clubs are limited to bj, sv, and ul1 motors, but any speed control is allowed.
