    Hey,

Im new to all this and need some help.

Im putting together a boat for my father and want to know if the following compoents will work or if i need to change anything?

    Hull: HK-Genesis
ESC: Turnigy Marine 120A Brushless Boat ESC
    LiPo: Turnigy 5000mAh 4S 30C Lipo Pack
    Charger: Turnigy Accucel-8 150W 7A Balancer/Charger
Servo: Suggestions, says it needs 3kg one
    Reciever: HK-GT2

Im working to a fairly low budget so trying to keep costs down.

I havent had an in-depth look into this thread but would like any helpful suggestions on installation of parts.

Not sure on the servo, it was built for me. All i know is you need a 3kg or higher servo.

Does crashing a boat into a bridge support count?

Joking, no he doesnt, i dont either!

Im slowly getting it though. Im try to show him all i know but can be trying at times lol.

Whats going to be testing is that he bought a pursuit mono from hobby king and we will need to build that!

On the weekend i had to solder new plugs and it was my first time soldering. I burnt myself 3 times but i can solder ok now.

Thank you, for your honesty, it is very refreshing. I would suggest some of the new RTR hulls on the market today and get your feet wet first prior to building/modifying a hull.
