If the #2 pencil is the most popular, why is it still #2?

Dreamland, same motor here from Steve @ OSE = http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...o-5692&cat=148

There's no mount listed for that big baby on the OSE store, i suggest you would need to mage one from fome flat aluminium to suit your hull.

    Cheers...Tim.

Peter made two mounts for my 5692. One for hydro/cat and other for deep vee.

PM him. He will ask you the questions. Generally, rail width, and motor diameter/length and endbell type.

IF your proboat has rails in it. Otherwise, it just bolts through the bottom of the boat. That is what I mean by a hydro/cat type mount. He already knows the dimensions, etc. for the Leopard 5692.

well i mean yea it has the rails where the stock gas motor was mounted to. so i would need to measure the distance between both rails? and of course tell him the motor i have? (leopard 5692) and thats it?

Yep. Your rails are probably 5" spacing but you need to measure to be sure. If you wish, you can also ignore the rails and bolt the mount through the bottom of the boat.

no way i think if i bolt them to the bottom of the boat it expose the screws where the boat rides on the water. this is the measurement between the inside of the rails

It's a hydroplane, so the tunnel isnt riding on the water. However, i still wouldn't do it. The tunnel floor is much too flimsy. I have a 1/8 Elam that I ran with a 2215 on 9s2p. I made my own aluminum rail mount.

flimsy is right! im planning to lay some carbon fiber inside the bay. i really cant stand how they price that thing with a zeno motor (not that there bad or anything) for 999.99

anyways i think peter should be able to work with that measurement right? or?
